Yes. You can make this purchase if the merchant is able to process a “split transaction”. You must tell the cashier the amount you would like to pay on your facecard and then first pay the outstanding amount with another form of payment. If you do not have sufficient funds on your facecard to make a purchase, your card will be declined unless you request a “split transaction” to cover the purchase.
