Can I make a building larger then the plans are designed for?
Yes, sometimes. Because in many cases we don’t use the standard truss system and because of local code requirements, we suggest you check with an engineer first. You can make a building longer or shorter without having any effect on the structure or snow load. If you desire to make a building wider then you should check with an engineer or contact our Custom Design Department.
