e-FAQ can be installed on the same machine as your SQL Server database and this is recommended in environments where a SQL Server database can be dedicated solely to e-FAQ. If the database server is used for other production purposes, it is recommended that e-FAQ be installed on a separate server in order to avoid processing bottlenecks between e-FAQ and the database environment.
