Can I live with friends in IIT or Northwestern University or University of Chicago ?

For practical reasons it is not advisable as it takes a lot of time traveling from those campuses to UIC using public transprotation. However, if you have a car, UC and IIT are only about 15 – 20 mins drive. But, Northwestern is still quite far off.
