Can I link from FirstSearch to my online catalog?

You can add a link to your Web-based online catalog from the FirstSearch service by typing URLs for the catalog in the administrative module. If you do, the link appears in FirstSearch records in selected databases so users can click on the link to use your catalog and determine an item’s availability and location. If you use this feature, the link appears whether or not FirstSearch indicates that your library owns the item, that is, whether or not your library’s OCLC symbol is attached to the record. When a user clicks the link, FirstSearch adds a heading and a Return button above the screen for your catalog so the user can easily return to FirstSearch. For more information, see the Administrative Module Reference Guide.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
