Can I line a ferrets cage with Timothy Hay?
ferrets cannot have hay or wood shavings for bedding its uncomfortable and the dust can get in their respetory system and kill them to line the bottom of the cage they need newspaper (that has 2 be changed every week or so) a litterbox in the corner, and soft blankets they also sleep in hammoks and old towels and stuff mine loves 2 sleep in my bed and in my pillow cases i think hes gonna only wanna sleep there tho and thetll be a problem lol if hes scratching at the bottom of the cage it could be for alot of reasons ferrets love to dig it could be that he doesnt like the texture of the floor or hes trying to find a way out or hes bored and wants attention i hope that helps~
