Can I leave extra recyclable materials out for a green box collection?

Yes, if it is a one off any additional materials must be clearly labelled as extra to be recycled. If this is a regular occurrence please contact the Council to request an additional box. Please do not use black sacks to present recyclables. Extra recyclables should be easily identifiable to the collection crews who will not open bags if they are unsure what they contain.
