Can I learn the Ishayas Ascension from a book or DVD?
No. It is an experiential teaching. Each person is unique and has a different nervous system and life experiences. In order to learn the technique properly requires personal instruction from a qualified Ishaya teacher. Reading a book or viewing a DVD cannot provide the experience of pure consciousness and the corresponding state of restful alertness that Ascension brings. Ishaya teachers are resting in full consciousness when they teach and they transfer the magic of this teaching to you from that Still place. A book can’t answer all of the questions, at the right time, that people might have while learning the practice.
