Yes. The Pimsleur Language Programs offer an interactive memory training technique based on Graduated Interval Recall. Rather than asking the student to repeat words or sentences, the CD will pose a challenge, asking a question which can be answered by using information previously learned. After the question, there is a pause, giving the student time to respond. And then the correct answer is given. Each time the student is reminded of a word and its use, the retention of that information is boosted until it becomes part of the student’s permanent memory.
