Can I keep Windows applications open and switch to a RISC OS application?
Yes, with the Topcat product, it is possible to switch between the Windows screen and the RISC OS desktop, by pressing SHIFT-F1 in Windows mode. This will return the user to the RISC OS desktop with the ICA Client on the Icon bar. To resume running the Windows application, double-click on the ICA Client icon (on the icon bar). Note that for this to work, the ICA Client must be run first from the Apps folder, so that it sits on the icon bar. Then connect to the Terminal Server by double-clicking on the relevant ICA Configuration file, dragging it to the ICA icon-bar icon or using Menu mouse button and choosing the appropriate connection.
