Can I just take courses at Rutgers as a non-matriculating student and not pursue a degree?
Students wishing to be considered for non-matriculating status should submit the regular undergraduate degree application and all required credentials. Non-matriculating applicants with bachelor’s degrees need only submit proof of a bachelor’s degree. • Is financial aid available to part-time students? Yes. Financial aid resources include grants, scholarships, loans, and employment opportunities, which are designed to help students meet college costs. To qualify for financial aid through University College, you must be a part-time student matriculated (admitted to a degree program) through University College, demonstrate financial need (for most programs), and enroll for 1-11 credits during the summer, fall, and/or spring semester. Contact the Financial Aid Office at (856) 225.6039, or via email at finaid@camden.rutgers.edu, to discuss your options with a counselor. • What scholarships are available? Information on scholarships for University College students can be found at http://www
