A. No! You cannot do that. Though running this system with an aquarium pump may add enough water vapor to the HHO to prevent flash back, it is not sufficiently safe. Under no circumstances, should you hook up an electrolyzer to a furnace, without proven flash back protection. William Rhodes, in his initial test, found the flame front speed to be around Mach 3.5. Bob Boyce said and we agree, there are no mechanical flash back protectors fast enough to do the job. However, Nicholas Tesla did design a non-mechanical valvular conduit for The Tesla Gas Turbine Patent (U.S. Patent No. 1,329,559), which may do the job. Gulf Laboratories is currently in the process of duplicating and testing this device. Apparently the math used for the design of this device by both Penn. State Univ. and a French Company as a micro heart valve, produces a flawed replication of the original.
