The credit bureaus prefer you use their methods of disputing an account on your credit report. However, these methods have not shown to be effective in our opinion. We use the “Fair Credit Reporting Act”, to make the credit bureaus conduct your dispute according to your rights within the law. We have found that making the credit bureaus verify account information in the manner referenced by law and in our sample letters, gets consumers excellent results.
