Can I just buy Godiva chocolate bars and melt it and pour it into a different mold?
You can use nearly any chocolate you like to mold your flowers. The thing to remember is that a chocolate bar intended for eating has already been tempered. You need to be a bit careful with temperature control, but as long as you use mild heating techniques (double boiler, for instance) you should be just fine. Most people who work with chocolate wouldn’t be caught dead using the wafers you can buy in the supermarket. They use premium chocolate all the time. The wafers have additives that make candymaking a bit easier for the novice, but they certainly don’t taste as good as a fine chocolate. Have fun, and enjoy some good chocolate! Bon Appetit!
