Can I just ask how does areas of ethics, law, child welfare and social policy inform social workers?
Ethics, law, child welfare and social policy would provide guidelines as to the limitations of their duty and prescriptive role as a social worker. They can’t do what they think is best or what they would like to do but have to work with-in defined guide lines that come from social ethics, law, child welfare and social policy.
