Can I join the library even if I dont live in Bellville?
Yes, you do not have to live in Bellville or Austin County to be a patron. How do I apply for a card? We ask that you come into the library to fill out an application. A drivers license number or a Personal ID number is required. How old do I have to be to get a card? You must be at least 17 years old to get a card in your name. Under 17 years of age you will have to use your parent/guardian account. Where are you located? We are located at 12 W. Palm Street, one block from the Courthouse. Library Services Do you have computers for public use, and is there a fee? We have 8 public use computers. We charge 10 for each copy that you make. Do you have a copier? Yes. Copies cost 10 a page. The copying machine makes both standard and legal size copies. Do you have a fax machine or a typewriter for public use? Not at this time.
