Our tankless water heater can be installed anywhere where an electric device/appliance would operate safely. We do recommend that the unit have 12″ of free space from the top and the bottom of the unit. So, if it is safe to operate an electrical device in your crawl space [crawlspace], then it should be ok to install the tankless water heater there.
