Can I install the Pontiac style manufacturers emblems without modifying the caps?
It’s not recommended for a couple reasons. First is that the caps are very highly polished and there’s a possibility the glue may not stick well enough without something to “grab” onto. Secondly you’d have to “dig” them out if the logo fades in the future and you want to replace the plastic emblems. The emblems are recessed into the face of the cap and tou’d damage the surrounding aluminum trying to remove them.
