Can I install the awning on vinyl or aluminum siding, stucco, or on masonry?
• Yes. You just cut away the siding, mount a pressure treated ledger board 2″ x 8″ (the same width as your awning) wrap it in aluminum, then mount the awning to the board. • Or, you can paint the board the same color as your house or trim if you want so it will blend in nicely with your siding or trim. • Our stationary canopies or awnings can be installed directly onto any siding, be sure that the screws are mounted into studs for a secure fit.
