TeleButler can be a standalone system, but this depends on the application you want to create. TeleButler has the possibility to retrieve, insert and update data in an ODBC-compliant (Open Database Connectivity) database (like MS Access, MS Excel, text-files, MS FoxPro, Btrieve, etc). This can be a local database, but it can also be a database somewhere on another (SQL)-server. In this case you will have to link your TeleButler to the corporate network.
