Can I install SimPlant in Windows Vista?
A. Windows Vista (like all Microsoft Operating Systems since DOS 1.1) is having the expected problems of being an advanced Operating System when the environment (the hardware) is still from one or two generations back. It will take a time until everything will be solved, but don’t worry, after that time, Windows Vista versus Windows XP will be like now it is Windows XP versus Windows 98. For the moment (July 2007) we recommend to continue using SimPlant under Windows XP to avoid unnecessary problems for which we do not have the solution and are NOT related to SimPlant itself, but between drivers and hardware devices.
