Can I install Kubuntu with a Linksys wmp54gs wireless card?

0

I am trying to install kubuntu on a custom machine that I have built. The machine was designed for windows, but when I got to college I started to want to try Linux. Right now, I am at home, and I only have wireless access to my DSL connection. I know that kubuntu downloads a lot of stuff during the install, and I am wondering if I can install kubuntu with this card, which I know does not have native support. I also have access to an Airlink Wireless USB adapter AWLL3025, but I heard that wouldn’t be any better. I am pretty good with Windows, but I am fairly noobish when it comes to Linux. If I have to download an install dvd or something, that will be cool, I just do not know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
