This depends on a number of factors. Most importantly the installer of the heating must have regard to the nature of the finished floor. The screed or mesh that covers the under floor heating elements is often uneven, which would impair adhesion and result in ‘hollow’ or ‘drummy’ feeling when walked on. You would need to notify us before installation if you intend to install under floor heating.
