A limited version of Asset Lifecycle Manager 4.0 is installed with LANDesk Management Suite 9 if you select to install the automated patch process (during the LANDesk Management Suite 9 installation). If you intend to use LANDesk Asset Manager 4.0 (LANDesk Process Manager 4.7) for more than just the patch process, you will need a dedicated server. However, it may be appropriate to use both products on the same machine for test or demo environments. You cannot install the full version of Asset Lifecycle Manager 4.0 on a machine that has any version of LANDesk Management Suite already installed. Can I install a LANDesk Management Suite agent on my Asset Lifecycle Manager server? Yes. This has been tested and is supported.
