Q. My lease is getting ready to expire, but I’m not ready to pay for a new license number, so I’m just going to set my clock back a month. Is this ok? No. Doing this will cause a Payment Plan version of Window-Eyes to turn into a demo. You will have an opportunity to set your date back to the current date (the date before you changed it) in order to re-activate your lease. You will not, however, gain any additional days. Also, if you attempt to set the date forward, you will lose that many days from your current license, and will not be able to retrieve them by setting your date back to the current date (the date before you change it). Any modification of the date when using a Payment Plan copy of Window-Eyes may result in the termination of your current license.
