Can I install a Satellites LP digital shower onto a hot water combination cylinder?

Yes providing the cold water cistern holds a minimum of 115 litres and the bottom of the cistern is a minimum of 100mm above the top of the Satellites mixing unit and showerhead. It should be noted that it would not be possible to initially prime the mixing unit with water if the outlet supply pipe from the mixing unit or the showerhead is positioned above or only level with water in the cold cistern. Providing water can flow under gravity to the shower outlet then removing the showerhead and lowering the shower hose into the bath or shower tray should allow water to prime the mixing unit. The LP mixing unit must not be started until water is seen to flow from the outlet. This is because the unit contains pumps, which can be damaged if they are turned on without water inside them.
