Many older instantaneous hot water systems only function when water flow rate is greater than approximately 3 litres/minute and are not compatible with some water efficient tap fittings. Most newer systems can function at lower flow rates. Not all instantaneous hot water systems will be compatible with 6 star-rated tap fittings. Consult your instantaneous hot water system supplier to ensure your system has been designed to function with 6 star-rated tap fittings.
