Yes, you can. If you do a Search or a Browse, you can export the resulting list of email as an Mbox file. Just click on the Export tab and select “mbox file”. This file can be imported into the Mail application. In order to import it, you have to put it into a folder and select the folder, rather than the file itself, while importing with the Mail app. It’s a little quirk of the Mail app. Mail will import into a mailbox, so you will lose the original mailbox info, but everything else will be intact. For best results when exporting an mbox file, you should have the option checked in Preferences to “Store copies of email raw source”. MailSteward will create a valid mbox file without the raw source, but it will not have all of the original header information, unless copies of the raw source are kept. MailSteward Pro always keeps a copy of the raw source.
