Yes! If you have a supported CD-ROM drive and Apple’s Sound Manager software (version 3.0 or later), you can use the Import CD Track command to import audio directly from an audio CD. Adjusting the Start and End Time controls allows you to import the entire audio file or a specific portion of the file. Note that not every CD-ROM drive supports audio extraction – check your drive’s documentation or ask the manufacturer whether they support CD Audio across SCSI.
