Can i import/place tiff or psd images into Publisher?

If you attempt to insert a PSD image into a publisher document, a pop-up window allowing you to convert the image to one of the accepted formats will be enabled. When you select one of the file formats to convert more than likely you will receive a subsequent error message stating there was “an occurred while importing the file.” I have not been able to successfully convert a PSD image file into any of the format options. It is better to save your PSD image as a TIFF or another format that will not degrade your desired resolution. [And does the program preserve the images’ resolution?] Yes. If you have few high resolution images you should have no problems printing, but too many high resolution images it will cause the processing of your document to slow down considerably. Within publisher you also have the ability to compress the image to commercial printing quality. I hope that answers your questions sufficiently. If you need further information, please don’t hesitate to ask.
