Can I host players simultaneously over a LAN and over a dial-up connection?

Yes. GPL allows you to designate any or all of the available connections for hosting players in a multiplayer game. For example, I have a LAN at home, and I previously had the usual dialup connection to the Internet, via a 56 kb modem. My LAN is set up for both IPX and TCP/IP. I could dial into the Internet, and then run GPL. When I got to the multiplayer screen, I could choose to host over the Internet TCP/IP connection, the LAN TCP/IP connection, and the LAN IPX connection, all at the same time. Now that I have a cable modem connection (through a Linksys BEFSX41 hardware router) I can host races via the Internet and join the same races from other machines on my LAN.
