• This is no longer necessary because the Idealstor drives can be used for backup and removed for offsite storage. However, if you still have a requirement to backup to tape or to access data on your existing tape media, you can hook up the tape device to the Idealstor through the use of a SCSI controller. Idealstor can install a SCSI controller into the Idealstor appliance at your request.
