Can I hook my AlphaCom Insat Wireless Modem to my Internet Server?
• We do not allow the modem to be used as a dedicated net connection for an Internet Server. • How do I do point to point connections with the Insat Wireless Modem? • Point to Point connections can be accomplished by using the Internet. You will have to develop your own network solution on how to make the AlphaCom Wireless Modem work in your situation. • Are there any plans to use the platforms other than CDPD for the Insat Wireless Modem such as satellite or FM radio? • When this company began the Insat project, the original intended platform for the modem was a satellite solution. Due to unforseen difficulties, we were forced into finding an alternitive medium for our wireless modem. In the future, we MAY POSSIBLY release a satellite product.
