Can i have some advice i get my golden retriever puppy today!?
Take her to the vet tomorrow: she needs time to settle in. I’m just going to give the basics of advice, and you can ask if you need further details (otherwise I’ll probably bore you with details you already know). For the journey. Make sure the breeder didn’t give her her last meal today. She won’t suffer from missing one meal and it reduces the chance she’ll be sick. (My golden retriever got this treatment and was fine all the way home despite a five hour journey, he’s never been carsick since in the five months I’ve owned him and loves car rides, probably because he’s no negative memories). Take a blanket with you and rub on his siblings and or mum. This will help calm him as it’s a familiar smell. Also, have him on your lap if you can. My Brodie was in a box between my sister and me and ended up half in the box, half in our lap sleeping. Take plenty of newspaper and old clothes in case she wees. Crate train her from day one.
