Can I have my tax preparaton fee withheld from my refund?
Yes, in certain circumstances. 1. Your preparation fees are less than $400 2. Your federal refund exceeds your preparation fees. 3. You agree to receive your federal refund by direct deposit. 4. You have not had your tax refunds offset in the past for child support, delinquent taxes, defaulted student loans, etc. or any other debt involving the Financial Management Services of the U.S. Government (aka FMS). 5. You sign a form that gives me permission to collect my fee from your refund and route the difference to your bank account. If it is a joint return both spouses must consent and sign this form. A $20 processing fee will be charged for this service.
