Can i have help finding bulletin board ideas for preschool with the international day theme?
What I did was ask each of the parents to bring a full body picture of each child to school with them. (One they didn’t want back!) I then asked the parents if they had a cultural heritage they would like to share. (For example, my Grandfather was from Greece). I then found images on the internet (and in magazines) of traditional clothing and printed them out, cut and pasted them on the pictures of the kids. Next I found border at our local teacher supply shop that had an international motif. I used our letter cutter to make large letters for the title (we were a Christian preschool, so it had a religious theme to go along with “we are all one”) and placed them near the top of the bulletin board. I added the childrens pictures randomly around the board, then added little items I could find such as tiny fans, little pieces of real cloth, plastic coins, etc. around the board.
