Can I have FusionBot return search results as pre-formatted HTML and XML at the same time, depending on where within my site a search is performed?
If you simply want to have your results returned as XML exclusively, please reference this FAQ. This FAQ is for users who wish to have their results returned as pre-formatted HTML, as specified via the ‘Customization’ options (Bronze customers) or via custom search templates (Silver & Gold customers), when a search is conducted from one location on their site, but may need also need to have the option to receive XML data from the FusionBot engine as well. Is this scenario, DO NOT select XML as the default output option for your results, as specified in the following FAQ. Rather, customize your search results as you typically would, using the formatting options available within your package. This will ensure that your standard search results are returned as formatted HTML output.
