Can I have extra Syns if I exercise?
Slimming World believe the best way to manage your weight healthily is to combine a healthy weight-reducing diet with physical activity. We wouldn’t recommend you ‘cancel out’ any of your Syns or use exercise as a means of allowing yourself more Syns. Rewarding for exercise by allowing yourself more Syns can result in poorer weight loss as it is human nature to overestimate how much energy you burn through exercise and very easy to overcompensate if you eat in reward for exercise. For better weight loss results we recommend Food Optimising (100%!) as normal and increasing your activity levels. If you do feel hungry and need more food then we would suggest you make the most of all the Free Food available to increase your energy intake before opting for extra Syns.
