Hi Louise, so sorry about your losses, and YES you may still have a healthy pregnancy. You must be tired of hearing this, but trust me when I tell you that at the moment you may be your worst enemy – do not want to sound mean, simply trying to help. You are going through hell, and you are obessessed, how could you not be. Now, for a solution: become your very very best friend and let things happen. Start with little steps like not constantly checking the spotting, then move on to the next step, and so on. If you truly work at this it will be so worth it! Please, give it a try. All the best!

Many women do miscarry, however, in order to have a successful pregnancy, which is what you really want, you need to let your body have time to heal, and your mind to grieve, because when a woman miscarries, she loses part of herself. I understand how you feel, as I lost a baby the day after I lost my husband (fire then miscarriage), and I rushed into a relationship and pregnancy afterwards to “replace” what I had. Although I have a beautiful 19 year old son, things weren’t as great as it could have been, and I never gave myself a chance to grieve my daughter. Take care of yourself, and I hope you had a checkup from the doctor after your miscarriage. Seriously, I know it doesn’t sound like it, but being on the pill for about 9 months, then going off and trying for pregnancy should get your body healed, and will probably act like a fertility pill, without the multiple birth chances. Good luck, and my prayers are with you!
