Can I have a copy of the EndNote software installed on a non-networked University computer?
If it is a University-owned desktop computer then you are entitled as a member of the University to have a free copy of the EndNote software installed. Contact the INSRV Service Desk ( insrvConnect@cardiff.ac.uk) who will arrange for technicians to visit your office to install EndNote on your desktop computer . Unfortunately it is not possible to get a free copy of EndNote installed on a University-owned laptop computer. This is because a laptop can be taken out of the University and used elsewhere, so it is not allowed under the software license agreement held by the University. Therefore if the computer in question is a laptop, you will need to purchase a copy of the EndNote software.
