Can I hang wallpapers on cabinet doors or hanging surfaces?
In order to apply wallpaper to cabinet doors or other free-hanging surfaces, you will generally need to apply a laminate to the back side of the supporting material. Otherwise the wallpaper could warp the supporting surface as it dries. The lamination (using the same material as on the front side) should be applied at the same time as the wallpaper and allowed to dry under the same conditions. You can forgo the laminating process if the surface you wish to cover is resistant to bending or the surface is screwed to a wall before the wallpaper is applied. As a general rule: the larger the surface, the greater the danger of warping. Large supporting surfaces should thus be at least 10 mm thick.
