Can i grow strawberries by planting a strawberry bought from the shop??
Yes but it really is very difficult. You would be better off to buy the plants already started, or even a packet of seeds. either way good luck To Grow from Berry 1. Buy some fully grown strawberries. These are seasonal, and often pricey. They are usually available at your supermarket. 2. Everyone can relate how much they hate getting strawberry seeds stuck in their teeth. These seeds are on the outside of the berry. Cutting the strawberries into slices about 5mm thick will be perfectly adequate for this, as the seeds will not be damaged. You do not have to pick the seeds off individually. 3. Dig holes in your chosen patch about 3-4 inches below the soil. Place one slice of strawberry into each and cover them over. They should be in full sun and you should water them regularly.
