I have sprouted wheat to feed ill animals during the summer where there isn’t much green here and also for bread making. There shouldn’t be a problem with animal quality wheat. Unless you are concerned about G.M.O. The genetically modified foods! Since there aren’t labeling requirements for animal feed you might want to purchase wheat that is intended for human consumption if you are worried.
