Can I grow Alpine Strawberry Plants On My Kitchen Window Sill?
I have wondered about this myself, since Alpine strawberries are so pretty and delicious……so it would be just for the novelty of it, unless you have a really big and deep kitchen window well, in which case they might well be alright; someone here suggested using a hanging basket, and I have seen that done ….. however, the old expert gardeners have suggested that it is not kind (!) to try to “domesticate” Alpines, but used other words…..some species are more sensitive and exhalted than others and want to be treated a certain way….
