Can I grow a tree from lemon, avocado or mango-seed?

They will all grow from seed, but the adult plant probably won’t produce fruit like the fruit you got the seed from (or even fruit at all, unless it lives in optimal conditions). But, if you just want a pretty houseplant, you can grow any of those. I have an avocado that’s about 6 months old and 14″ tall. I’ve also grown orange, lime, lemon, and grapefruit. The citrus grows pretty slow (my lime tree is seven months old but only 3″ tall), but the avocado shoots up FAST (mine grew about 8″ in the first two weeks), so if you’re impatient, I’d try that one first. It’s fun and satisfying; I’d definitely recommend trying it.
