Can i go to University on a REPS recognised Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification?
It depends on your age. Universities can change their entrance requirements for mature students but the course you have taken is vocational rather than academic and may not give you a good foundation for university study. If you are over 25 and I was advising you I would suggest doing an Access course to see if you like university style studying and to improve your study skills. Psychology is a difficult course to get into so it may be worth looking at Adult Education courses at the university to see if there are any on offer which carry points towards your degree. Try one of these and see if you can get a really high mark, this will count towards your first year total but more importantly will allow you and the univesity to assess your academic potential. The other route is to investigate the OU courses which require no initial qualifications.
