Can I give my child Childrens TYLENOL® Plus Cold & Cough Plus Cough for more than five days?
Do not give Children’s TYLENOL® Plus Cold & Cough Plus Cough for pain for more than five days or for fever for more than three days unless directed by a doctor. If pain or fever persists or gets worse, if new symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, consult a doctor because these could be signs of a serious condition. If sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days, or is accompanied by or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache, consult a doctor. These warnings are necessary so that you will seek appropriate medical evaluation of your child’s condition if it persists or worsens.
