Can i give my baby stage 2 jars?
Hi I would advice buying Heinz baby dinners in the boxes (just like the baby breakfast range, that way you can adjust the amount you feed your baby without the choking hazard. I would give him app. 4 spoonfulls of breakfast, mixed with app 4oz of milk, a jar and a yougurt at lunch and the same at dinner. Try adding some snacks in eg. Cheese (full fat) fresh fruit and steamed veg, rusks etc etc. If you have the time try mixing up some fresh pasta maybe with a tin of tomatos as pasta releases energy slowly keeping him more full. Its good to add cheese into his daily diet as 25g of cheese helps the baby grow and is a great intake of calcium. I would keep his milk at app. 24-26oz per day and slowly reduce this as her gets older… a 9 month old still requires 24oz per day.
