Can i get treatment for ankylaglossia (tongue tie)?
Both my sons have a tongue tie, for one son this hasnt caused him any bother and doesnt interfere with talking, eating etc. With my other son he sometimes gets swollen and redness under his tongue where it is attached, he can also be a lazy talker at times,he went to the Doctors because it does hinder him now and again, he was referred to the Hospital who told him they could cut it but it could lead to complications of thick scarring and is not always sucessful, although they were prepared to do the small op my son decided against it as was more concerned of it not healing properly and left with it being worse than to begin with.
