Can I get the Transfair seal on my IMO Social & FairTrade certified product, or an IMO seal on Transfair certified products?
You cannot get the Transfair seal on an IMO Social & FairTrade certified product. Transfair/FLO does not accept any other existing certification schemes as equivalent. Only FLO-certified products in origin can bear the Transfair seal. You may be able to use the Transfair seal on composite products that contain some FLO certified ingredients, and some IMO Social & FairTrade certified ones. You can get the IMO seal on products that have been certified through Transfair/FLO. IMO accepts FLO certified products as equivalent. Use of the IMO Fair For Life of For Life label is free of charge.
